  • What is the menu / cuisine?

    At Contra we serve an ambitious set menu of Contemporary New York cuisine. We feature interesting, local and seasonal ingredients. An abbreviated menu and dessert tasting are available at the bar.

  • I have dietary restrictions. Can I eat at Contra?

    We CANNOT accommodate vegan menus or remove all dairy from your dinner. We will do our best to accommodate all other serious allergies and dietary restrictions. Any changes to the menu must be requested directly, by emailing 24 hours in advance of your booking.

  • Do you take reservations?

    All reservations for Contra are available up to two weeks in advance at this website or via We are able to accommodate up to 6 guests during the week and 4 guests on Friday and Saturday evenings. A credit card is required to hold your reservation. Contra will charge a cancellation fee of one menu, $67, per guest in the event of a no-show or cancellation within 24 hours of the reservation time. For inquiries about larger parties, please email

  • Do you accept walk ins?

    Our 8 seat bar is available for walk ins on a first come, first seated basis, with the full menu available. At the bar we also offer an abbreviated dinner for $48 per person and dessert tasting for $20 per person.
